Through our various projects and events, we strive to encourage all students to make their voices heard and create an environment where team members can contribute ideas and be supported. We strive to ensure our recruitment process is fair, transparent, and welcoming to all.
Our Inclusive Innovation: Human-Centered Design sub-team focuses on developing assistive technologies for individuals with disabilities. The project brings together students from different engineering and design backgrounds to create solutions centered around the needs of the people who will use them.
Our Business & Outreach team works to share STEM and sustainability education with underserved audiences. Recent outreach efforts include developing climate change and renewable energy curriculum for middle school students through Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, as well as hosting sustainability and STEM activities for youth in the Ithaca community.
Our current teams include students studying engineering, computer science, information science, architecture, communication, and environmental sustainability. The Operations Division specifically creates opportunities for students outside traditional engineering disciplines to contribute through marketing, outreach, etc.
